I have an embedded design based in a Power PC and a massive storage device is needed. I have found a SAMSUNG NAND Flash device fitting my requirements but the problem I need to solve is how to interface between the file system from the Operating System running in the microprocessor and the flash device. Unitl know I only considered an programmable device for the hw interface but I guess that some software work must be done in order to translate between the file system and the device. Any advice shall be appreciated.
