HI,
Sometimes back i bought the programmer from Robokits online. It comes with its own burner. Intially one or two programs burned correctly but now its not detecting the programmer. I am using windows 8.1 genuine.
 

Ask your seller for the driver for windows 8.1 if you don't have the driver.if you have driver then uninstall the driver and keep your internet on and search drivers online or provide the location path to driver folder.

However its not getting detected even on windows 7 with all the drivers installed in it.
 

Not detecting in the sense, what kind of error you are getting during programming. Have you checked in device manager

Yes i checked in device manager. Its getting detected and error i m getting is can not connect/communicate with the hardware, try raising or lowering the baud rate and try again. I m getting this error every time.
 

Ok try do the following things.
goto --> Options --> Advanced Option --> Hardware Config --> Deselect the check box ( which is default selected for use DTR and RTS to Control RST) and don't do anything with the next one which is Assert DTR and RTS while COM port open (it has to be deselected)
then
goto --> Options --> Advanced Option -->Timeouts--> now select the check box use my timeouts for ISP operations.

Try to program now may be it works now

make sure that interface is non ISP baurd rate 9600 and unmarked the half duplex in advance options.And try with other controller might be you have faulty controller.
 

Flash magic don't have P89v51RD2FN, it has P89v51RD2 does it make any difference while programming. Is it why programmer couldn't communicate with the hardware and ultimately with the chip.
 

I dont think so it will give you the problem. Its just the variation in the size of the flash memory. Have you tried with the options provided in the post #6 & #7.

just try with P89v51rd2xx as select controller instead of P89v51rd2 only.It might affect.
 

No, it doesn't have any version of P89v51RD2 if you will see in the available list.
 

I tried unchecking DTR to control RST, checking timeouts, unchecking half duplex communication, but none of the above solutions are working.
