This simple program allows you to catalogue parts. The program is for free for commercial applications. It is based on the Firebird database engine and was written in a free development environment Lazarus. Also installation version was made in the free program Inno Setup Compiler.
First thing to do is to install Firebird on your computer.
If the database will be locally used only on your computer, it is not necessary to add an exception to the firewall.
Then install the program from the attachment in the original thread.
Select:
Settings → connection settings and then BAZADANYCH>FDB file
By default, this file is located in the application folder.
The password for the database is: masterkey
You can change the password through the console if you like.
Also you can choose the tables, add, delete and edit records.
The program was tested with Firebird version 2.1.3.
The program works on the base of SQL queries, there is no limit to the number of items in the tables, the speed of working with even very large number of records is provided by the query mechanism. The program was compiled in Windows XP.
