Hi all Judges,

Im currently doing a Fingerprint Recognition FOR DIFFERENT ORIENTATIONS project. Scanner and pc is all i need for the hardware part. Due to the sensitivity and "un-orientation wise" of normal scanners , i cant use them for my project. So if i use a U.are.U (especially for fingerprints) scanner, by calling the dlls in the scanner in stead of writing my own fingerprint algorithm codes..is this considered cheating?

Thanks!

then what should i do as if i use normal scanner, the orientation part cannot be solved..using specified scanner considered cheating...

or is there any possibilities of solving the orientations part using normal scanner? :(
