I am a beginner in cadence, how to find DCgain in Cadence....?Is it same as the result obtained in AC gain?
Plz help....

Do a DC sweep of the input voltage and measure the slope of the output voltage versus input voltage curve.

Hi,
If you are able to plot AC gain Vs Freq plot (AC simulation using feedback)
Then the Gain at low freq is your DC gain.

Else you can run DC simulation also to know your DC gain.

Note:
Test bench for AC simulation with feedback
1. Use feedback resistance with AC component of 1e12 and DC component 1e-6
This will help in biasing(DC) and also will be open for AC in feedback.
2. Use series resistance at input with AC component of 1e-6 and DC component of 1e12
This will help in setting up biasing (DC) based on feedback rather than input.

Hope this helps.
