They are almost the same thing. In common language usage, we tend to refer to the bigger, high voltage, high current devices as "Power MOSFET" or just "MOSFET" for short. The smaller devices used in low power applications are often JFETs. There is a difference in their construction but the families overlap quite a lot.
Power MOSFETs are usually optimized for low 'on' resistance so they have minimum power loss when carrying high current, JFETs are usually optimized for low gate capacitance so they can switch or amplify at higher frequencies.
