Hi everyone

I am writing a website about how to create printed circuit boards. It is aimed at people who have not done it before and therefore I try to keep it simple.
I would love to get some feedback on the content so far. What do you like? What don't you like? Is there anything you feel is missing? Anything that is hard to understand? Anything that is not correct?

The site is www.build-electronic-circuits.com

Any comments would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Oyvind

Hi, I think it's a pretty nice site is the site is intended for complete beginners (those without any background whatsover in electronics) or is it for beginners who already have some background in electronics (like students)? I think the site is useful for the student types who want to build professional looking circuit boards - not really for those without any background in electronics (since some of the articles posted seem to suggest this, like the page "Electronic Schematics Explained Simply"). Overall it is a good site! I haven't tried having PCBs made professionally, so I found your section on how to get PCBs made cheaply very useful! i also think the part about the SMD soldering will also help those who are afraid to try it.

I realized just now that I have been a bit vague about who my audience really is.
I don't intend to teach electronics theory, so my audience is those who already know enough to put together a schematic. So I see your point when you mention that the "Electronic Schematics Explained Simply" might not resonate with the target audience.

Thanks for noticing that ernpao!
