Hi guys
I need to wind a FBT 1:1 ratio . its ETD49 core . Im building a LV power supply .

What I need to know is do I wind the Pri and Sec in opposite directions , cw and ccw and should they be 2 separate coils , stacked as opposed to 1 coil layered over the other ?

cheers

Hi , thanks Ill have a dig around . I just thought maybe the basic layout would resemble the model T ford ign coil, which is 2 stacked coils on secondary . only in appearance not HV or high turns . they mustve made them that way for some advantage , :0) cheers
