Hi there. Is there anyone who knows about evaluation modules? I have a DSP which has an output of 10KHz and i want to upconvert it to 2.1-2.7 GHz.
The same with the receiver , to downconvert the signal from 2.1-2.7 GHz to 10 KHz. I have in the laboratory that i work View attachment τρφ.bmp
a transmitter TRF1222/1122 and the receiver TRF1115. SO i want to buy TRF 1112 for receiver and TRF 1221 for transmitter (the missing modules), but Texas Instr says that they are not recommended anymore cause there are new chips to replace them. But they are expensive. So i want to order the old one, TRF 1112 and TRF 1221 but the company don't give anyhelp about these anymore cause they are old chips. Is there anyone who knows about these modules?

Thanks a lot George

Up- and down converting ~10 kHz to 2.5 GHz and back sounds quite not serious. You can possibly use the ~10 kHz to MODULATE the 2.5 GHz carrier. For a short range use AM, for a longer range I would use FM.

As you do not indicate any details of the radio range, it is difficult to advise if TRF expensive modules are suitable. There are many other modules and options to use with your ~10 kHz signal. The easy option is to modify a 2.45 GHz wireless camera and receiver , usually the range is ~30-50 meters, much more with a simple antenna.

Sorry about the delay. So i will tell you more details. I want to send a 16QAM signal baseband 10Khz and BW=17KHZ wireless from one patch antenna transmitter to a receiver patch. I am working in a MIMO system 2x2 and i have some pair of DSP that works very good when the communicate with cable. But i want to make the communicate wireless. At start i design a SISO system and then i will make it works as MIMO. So i want to upconvert a signal of 10khz to 2.45 for the transmitter.
