The aquarium dimensions are 220x280x30. The capacity is about 1,5l, minus the heater and aerating hose. The aquarium was ordered in a specialist firm.
Thermostat of 200W controls the heater. The heater was chosen by its power, to reach the shortest time of heating up the solution. The regulator for aeration was made as an ordinary regulator on triac. Also a thermometer measuring the actual solution temperature was added. The temperature sensor was secured with a double heat shrink pipe. The whole device was mounted in a wooden housing under the tank for solution.
The boards are etched much more quickly thanks to constant temperature kept and the motion of the solution.
Things needed:
  • aquarium
  • heater
  • aerator
  • electronics
The aerator has rubber feet and it's mounted with two rubber straps to minimize vibrations.
