Error when running makefile: [log] error 24

Hi all,
when i run my makefile, i get "make *** : [log] error 24" . can anybody tell me what the problem might be?

personally, i've tried to make sure that there r no spaces in place of tabs and all that in makefile. still not much of improvement

i mean, is there someplace where i can check what the error code 24 means? i don't get any messages along with that.
