Error 628 connection terminated by remote computer

What causes "Error 628: Connection terminated by the remote computer before it could be completed so the port used was closed"
I have been using a huawei E220 HSDPA usb modem to connect to internet but recently since I started seeing this error from the modem I have failed to use it to connect to internet.
I have the right settings from my service provider such as the APN, I have data on my data card. my modem has never got any physical damage, I tried to use the modem on other computer not mine alone but still the same message comes.
I contacted the huawei website but I found no solution. Please help me out before I consider buying another modem. I believe there is a solution to this.
 

maybe the service provider disconnect your line

Here are some solutions to this problem....

1 Reinstall the modem.
2.Confirm that you have good phone line.
3.Check the router/firewall settings.
4.Re-enable RAS.
5. Check that you are using correct username or password.
 

I am also using this same data card so to solve this problem you need to change the setting in the properties of your network :-just three steps ahead
1. click on the network icon present in the task bar & find your broadband setting.
2. Right click on that setting and select properties.
3.Click on security tab and change the data encryption setting to any other setting except "require encryption" setting.

TRY THIS!!!!!!!

If this does not work
Then you need to change the data card.
