what is the amount of energy consumed by multiplication instruction per byte in ATMEGA 128 L processor?

It depends on the clock speed. Why do you want to know the energy consumption ?

we need to know the energy consumed for various arithmetic and logical operations in the Mica2 motes which use Atmega 128L microcontrollers. Operating at 7.37 Mhz and 3V.

Use the microprocessor data sheets and look-up the current consuption for a clock speed of 7.27MHz. Look-up the number of clock cycles to perform multiplication. Time duration of multiplication x current = amphours. Joules = Ah x voltage
