Emissivity of ferrite? (doing infra red thermometer reading)

could you say if it will be like aluminium, or more like the plastic of a dpak body.
Ferrite surface is dark (implying high emissivity) , but somewhat smooth and thus shiny (implying low emissivity).
 

You can expect quite high IR emissivity (> 0.9). If you want to check it yourself, you'll surely find how to after thinking a bit...
