Hi, I would like to make an embedded linux bootable from a diskonchip for Industrial PC based on a 386. And i have limited to 16Mb of diskonchip

I need to know if anyone could share his experience making something like this.
I never used linux, and i dont now from were i need to start, i dont have much time to learn and lees many (this is my karma).

I dont know if it is posible to make a harddisk with a linux with less options and then pass it to a diskonchip with my application.

Any Comment would be very helpful
