Embedded Linux for ZYNQ

I am wondering if there exist embedded linux program that can be used in Xilinx ZYBO 7Z-20. How do we start working with petalinux. I am looking for a software/program that can be downloaded into ZYNQ, should configure ZYNQ as USB host and store the data at maximum rate at the attached USB flash drive.
