hi,
attached is an ASM for 2 floor elevator with 2 floor buttons (Call1 and Call2), 2 inside lift buttons; FB1(for ground floor), FB2(for 1st floor), two sensors to detect lift has arrived (FS1 for gnd floor and FS2 for 1st floor), 2 outputs for resetting floor/lift buttons circuitry (R1, R2), Output signals are, DO for opening door with timer inside door mechanism (no need to cater for it), UP and DOWN.

Is this ASM possible to convert it to a microprogrammed system ? I appreciate if someone can point me a good source with a similar approach.

thanks

That's a flow chart not a program. It seems to be missing an initialization stage that ensures the elevator starts on ground floor. It should be simple to code into a program but to do so it would be necessary to know how the sensors, buttons and motor control and interfaced. We can help you do it but you will have to fo the hard work of actually writing the code.

Brian.
