Electronics job in UK

Hi to all!

I'm 31 year old electronic engineer from EU (Eastern Europe). Eastern Europe(Lithuania, Latvia) almost has no workplaces for Electronic engineers.

Can I hope to find electronic engineer job in UK?

My english is somewhere between Elementary and Intermediate.
My engineering skills and experience related to all stages of production of simple electronics devices.

But i think UK production of electronics devices are at higher level than in Eastern Europe. And my skills no so good for UK. Can i hope to find any job related to electronics in UK???

The UK electronics industry tends to be a bit niche, I would say. By that I mean the products are not generally mass volume or low tech - they are usually fairly sophisticated such as aerospace, medical, military. I think that is because the manufacture of electronics for volume products has gone offshore and so has a lot of the design.

This may be just my experience and not a true snapshot of the industry.
