I have a mobile phone and a camera.
Mobile phone charger is 5,1 V and 0,7A.
Camera charger is 5 V and 0,55 A.

What happens if I use the mobile one to charge the camera or vice versa (from a wall socket)? Would it work and be safe for the battery?
 

Maybe will camera charger suffer from overloading when charging phone, I say maybe, first indicator is increasing of heat.
 

The voltage difference is small.
Practically it should not have much difference.
Most device also have a built regulator inside.

Mobile phone charger will probably work for both.
Camera charger may become hotter or fail to charge for mobile charging. It depends on how much your mobile phone is drawing.

Hi, i am planning to make a USB charger using LM7805 IC. I need 5V and 700mA as output voltage and current.

As the IC can provide up to 1A output current, to get 700mA can i just place a suitable resistor in the output pin to control the output current?
 

Hi, if a mobile phone needs 1000mA to charge the battery, will it charge with just 700mA?
