Check any commercial DC motor, dynamo or alternator. For >100 years,designers have solved all problems you only start to think about...
Without knowing nothing, you seem to try to reinvent the basics.
Best of all, forget simulations and try to make your device by your hands.
I tried this approach at the age of 6, and needed no more simulations.

I tied it to, and i don't want to reinvent anything. But thanks for the comment ! Simulations are needed for the paper work, thats why i need it..
 

You cannot simulate the unknown coil and unknown gap size between the coil and the magnet.
Rubbee is a simple electric motor that has a battery to power it. The battery takes 3 hours of hard work to charge. Your do-it-yourself generator will be MUCH TOO WEAK to charge the battery but might be able to charge a capacitor to 0.3V.
 

I know what is rubbee, because in my work they are produced , and I do not want to charge rubbee battery ! Why you say unknown coil and unknown gap ? I want to simulate diferent sizes and diferent air gaps for best suitable construction..
 

A simulation needs to have "a model" showing all the details of your coil. Usually the model comes from the manufacturer of the coil. Your coil is not purchased, instead it is an unknown do-it-yourself contraption with no model and no details. Specifications of the core of your coil is important for the simulation.
The simulation software also needs to know the accurate gap size between the coil and the magnet.
Do you have simulation software designed for analysing a generator?
Without having the details then you will not be able to simulate it.
 

An estimation of expectable coil flux, induced voltage and coil inductance (for the power calculations) would probably help. A (typical) geometry definition would be the first step in any case.
 

Ok.. then let's start from this... I have 10x4mm cylindrical n52 neodynium magnets. I want to see magnetic field strenght and lines if there are 18 magnets in a circle. How to do that with Ansoft Maxwell in 3D ? Can't find any similar example..

There's no ferromagnetical material involved apart from the magnets itself?

I believe that analyzing the field of a single magnet gives you most of the intended information. It's a simple axisymmetrical problem.

But you can of course setup the complete 3D structure. Define the material, make a single magnet, copy it to a circular structure, define the analysis volume boundaries.
 

Finally i have my test setup. Plastic material is PVC (80mm x10mm) , magnets neodynium N52 22pcs 6x10mm. Every second magnet is reversed direction. Want to see static magnetic field. Can anybody help me to do that using QuickField software ? Thanks ! :)

That magnetic film looks great ! Will 100% buy it today. I want to see magnetic field with simulations too see magnetic field strength at certain points..
 

Hi,

Instead of using a coil as a detector, why not use a cheap reed switch. A strong magnet will close the reed switch at a gap spacing of 10mm or more.
 

Hi friends ! Working now with power management circuit for my generator (until waiting plastic holders for perfect coil-magnets positioning). I will use Texas Instrument bq25504 chip, low power atmega328P (or MSP430G2) and RF module. Now trying understant all bq25504 working principles. Want to ask - solar cell MPP point is about 80% open circuit voltage. Here i'm using electromagnetic generator, and can't find anything about maximum power point.. So maximum power is at 50% Voc voltage. Maybe electromagnetic generator have the same characteristic? Of course, when i will make whole generator, then i will measure that curve by myself, but now i only want to know what is expected result. Thanks !
