Hello all,

I am working brushless motor software with block commutation technique. I am almost done with software development and regardting to testing i have a question now.
When is it a better idea to make EMC tests? Does it make sense to make EMC test before the software tests such as black box and code review tests are done?
when do we have to consider emc testings normally, is it better to consider when the code and black box tests are satisified?

thanks

For emissions testing, it's unlikely that software will have any significant impact, so it's often fine to test that with prototype code. Immunity might be more software dependent (since in some cases software can discriminate against interfering emissions).
