Hello every

I’m trying to use this circuit for SG3225 ic testing

Can I replace the ceramic capacitor 33 uf with electrolytic capacitor?, if so how connect positive and negative terminals?

Also the 100uf?

Regards

Look at the data sheet.
It clearly shows the capacitor on pin 8 is polarized (= electrolytic) and the one on pin 15 is 100nF although adding 100uF electrolytic across it wont hurt. Both have negative side to ground.

Brian.

I would compare, at 40 Khz, the ESR values of the two capacitor technologies,
and substitute on that basis as well. Do a test bed and try them as well, monitoring
their respective pin voltages with scope.

I don’t understand your point of view
Sorry

The lower the ESR the more effective it is as a bypass cap to suppress noise
and stabilize V at a node.
