The difference is similar to comparing string and rope. They are the same thing but most people draw a distinction between 'electrical' being power generation, distribution, motors and industrial machinery and 'electronics' as being to do with things that control the flow of electrons. In other words discrete components, integrated circuits and smaller applications.
Usually electrical appliances operate on direct supply voltage (110V/230V) without the need for step down using step down transformer or SMPS ex: water pump motor, electric heater etc
While electronic appliances usually makes a step down conversion using a step down transformer or SMPS instead of directly applying supply voltage ex: Radio, Computer etc
As far I can explain the defference..that electric has to do with the general concept of electricity. It is generally acceptable to use the terms electric and electrical interchangeably. While electronic is a term that is descriptive of devices that are powered by electricity. An electronic device is often constructed using one or more electric elements that make it possible to manage the flow of electricity into the device.

Electrical deals with power generation, distribution etc..while electronics is related to controlling....
another difference between the two is the "semiconductor"...
