hi,
for a while I have been trying to minimize quadratic functional but this time with non-symetric matrix operator.
I found out with my tranformation that the original functional is equal to the tranformed one. suprisinly their gradient are far apart.
pls, kindly help me out in establishing the link between the two gradients or why the the transformed problem can be used for the original problem.
