E-plane,H-plane,cross polar and copolar problem in this antenna

What is the direction of Copolanar ,cross polar radiation in this antenna?
Which plane is the E-plane and which is the H-plane?
The excitation port and radiation boundary Condition is like this:



 

E plane is the ZY plan
H plane is the ZX plan
The coplanar direction is the same with the E direction and the X-polar one is perpendicular to the E direction.

So you have a voltage source between your two biconical parts. So the E field is established between those two parts and is parallel to the biconical parts. Its like the Dipole antenna, the E field is parallel to the Dipole parts since the voltage delta is between the two parts of the dipoles. The E field is always coplanar withe the antenna, it means parallel to the parts and to the voltage direction between the two parts. The H field is perpendicular to the E field or parallel to the currents in the fed lines.

here a free book for the basics element on antennas and propagation: Electromagnetic Waves and Antennas
You can find also Matlab codes in the website that can help you to design simple antennas and to understand the microwave propagation phenomenas. Concerning the details about the polarization you can read also : Table of Contents - W1GHZ Microwave Antenna Book ONLINE
This book gives you examples of antennas and you will see the polarizations also. Then it will be the experience when you will design several structures.
Don't hesitate to ask for help.

am I right?

I think the E-plane in this antenna is xz plane and H-plane is yz plane.
right?

May be I understood: the voltage is established between the two parts. So the first impression is that the E plane is the XZ; So right you are, the E field is parallel to the voltage direction in this case. But I want to be sure about the dielectric slots in the conductors; Can you send to me more details about the structure. If you simulated it on HFSS let me know.

this is the full paper and simulating file of myproject

I use Hfss v11 and analysis without silicon coating but i face with this error "out of memory"

as ur printed dipole
E plane is the direction of the radiated electric field
so from the shape here
E plane is the XY plane
H plane is the XZ plane
because that kind of antennas are endfire ,means the direction of beam in the same axis of antenna(X axis)

i design quasi yagi antenna before but that is new bow tie as to improve ur band width
