How do I use a dynamic microphone with my YAESU FT-7800R.
I have tried to connect the mic direct to the radio but the sound is too low.

I would guess the original mic is an electret which has much higher output for a given sound presure level. You need an extra stage of amplification of ~10 times which you should be able to do with a single transistor or IC stage. The good news is the mic socket carries a stabilized 9V on it so you have power available for the amp.

Microphone Impedance: 2 K Ohm No spec for input level.
What mic impedance is yours?

If your sensitivity is too low, do you want to make or buy a preamp or match impedances?
