In a setup where the LNB is wired with a coaxial cable to Tuner-1 "in" and then another coax wired to its "out" to the next Tuner-2 "in". This should restrict LO and polarization of Tuner-2 to be the same as for Tuner-1. But what happens if Tuner-2 anyway send that 18V and 22 kHz pilot tone to its "LNB" (Tuner-1) upstream?

And how many tuners are realistic to daisy chain in this way before signal is reasonable degraded too much?
