Dual Level converter ICs

Hi,

Is there any single IC which contain both the 3.3 to 5 V and 5 to 3.3 V converter. Even some two channels each for both the cases?

If available pls share me the part number..

You are asking about two bidirectional signal lines?

I know the 8 bits wide ICs, don't know if there are two bit wide ICs.

FXMAR2102 has 2 channels.

By the way i am interfacing the 3.3V microcontroller with the 5V Max488 IC. Shall i use this isolator for the TX and RX line between them..

Controller - RX - Channel 1 of FXMAR2102 - DO - Max488
Controller - TX - Channel 2 of FXMAR2102 - DI - Max488

Shall i use like this?

...there is no isolator....

But if the A,B,X,Y of Max3488 is connected with another device 5V Max488, then will it not be problem?

Hi,

RS485, RS422 are standards. Every device must meet the specifications independent of it's supply voltage.

If you want detailed information, then reading the datasheets is a good idea:
MAX3488:
* -7V to +12V Common-Mode Input Voltage Range
* Driver Output Voltage (A, B, Y, Z)..........................-7.5V to 12.5V (independent of Vcc)
* Receiver Input Voltage (A, B) ................................-7.5V to 12.5V (independent of Vcc)
