Hi
I have 'recently' bought a new acer aspire laptop that came with Windows 7.
I'm studying computer engineering so I installed Fedora14 alongside Windows.
Fedora is no longer useful to me and so, I tried to get rid of it (actually, tried to format my computer).
But, unlike my older computers, this one doesn't come with the OS cd, it comes only with an option that allows me to create a recovery DVD for my (what I think it might be) OS and another one for the drives.
When I installed Fedora, I allowed it to take over boot.
Stupidly I deleted the partition where Fedora was (that itself created) without getting rid of GRUB.
Now I can't get passed the GRUB command line and therefore doesn't let me start Windows.
I have been researching several web pages and only have found solutions that require the DVD.
To be honest I'm clueless about this.
If anyone could give me some hints, would be very grateful.
