I need ±5Vdc with isolated 0V , to use as psu for temp. controller.

I have 12Vdc input and need : +5v and -5V with isolated 0v from input com.

Only need 50mA on each 5V.

Thx

You should use a transformer based supply to have total isolation. You could experiment with a transistor based push/pull driver,
or maybe use a dedicated ic such as this one.

There are many such devices on the market. DC/DC converters, from 0,5W upwards. Try "www.allelectronics.com" for surplus low-cost ones.

hello, the power supply you are using is sourcing from a typical transformer/rectifier or from a switch mode power supply ?
