Take a look at Microchip application note AN1017. It is for driving a brushless motor with a sine wave.
I have used the code in the file 'svm.c' to generate sine waves with adjustable amplitude and frequency.

Hi,
Microchip has a pure sine wave UPS made with dsPIC with documentation and source code available on their website.
