Hi,
you can use MPSIM in MPLAB. Select Debugger > Select Tool > MPSIM. You can run the program by giving initial condition from Debugger > Stimulus > New Workbook. Get a MPSIM tutorial from Microchip web. Enjoy!

No, you can just see the ports going high or low in the wave shape (PIN trace) and match with actual LCD wave diagrams.

do you found out the solution for the simulator?
im using the Proteus simulator, for my controller also no more simulator is available.
kindly tell me do you got the solution for your controller?

i cant use the proteus, yeah its having only dspic33f only,

Hi,

There is no such virtual/visual simulator for dspic33f higher end devices. Proteus has supported a few dspic33f chips. For simulation you have to play with MPLAB sim. To start of working wit it this blog will help you.
