hi friends
please help me on how to interface DS1820 with 89C51.i mean can anybody provide me the code for this. and it is neceesary to use 8051 only and not by using PIC.

dear ianp thanks for replying but that isnt helping me. its using 8 ds1820 and all polling and macros its too high fundu.got over my head.................

couldnot understand a word..................

Try this project .. goto temperature conversion section. There you will find code for 8051. Maybe this one will be more familiar to you ..
