ir2110 h bridge

Hi,

Is it possible to drive a H-Bridge with a PIC (16F877) and generate a sinusoidal current waveform? Change the amplitude of the waveform is also desired.
Can anybody please show me a sample code in CCS to how top do this?

Thanks in advance

h-bridge pic sine

Jester,

If you are using a CMOS based gate switch ( CMOS or IGBT ) instead bipolar transoistors ( BTJ ), usually is used the IR2110 IC to interface with the power stage.

PIC have 5V power and CMOS gate need to be driven at least with 12V.

I developed an UPS equipment in wich the inverter was made this way. A few time ago, I posted in some topic pieces of code I wrote in CCS compiler.

Hi andre,

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to use Mosfets in the H-Bridge. So I can and will have to use IR2110. How about generating the sinusoidal waveform and changing the amplitude? You have posted the code directly to generate sine wave. Isn't it?

This topic is regarding the project posted here.
Code:

Can you please shed some light on that...I'm really stuck

Thanks
