Doubts with using Tanner

hi,

i've been using tanner l-edit for a while now. in the setup of the layers, the ndiff and pdiff extraction layers are filled with the junction capacitance values. When a circuit is extracted, does the parasitic capacitance of a node, say output, contain the junction capacitances or drain/source capacitances of all drains and sources connected to that node?

this is because, if the devices are extracted with their AS, AD, PS, PD, i feel that HSPICE re-calculates the junction capacitances and adds them to the nodal capacitance. if so, the junc.cap is included twice for a node's cap, once from the parasitic cap. and the other fromHSPICE recalculation.

PLease comment.

thanks.
