doubt on the formula!

what is this formula called and used for: XL = 2πfL .what is XL,and how is it calculated!

You would do well to read a book on basic electronics instead of asking so many questions on basic theory.

Yes, aj_silverthunder, I completely agree with BETWIXT.

In your own interest, it would be much better for you to systematically learn some basics instead of asking a lot of questions in this forum - resulting in a collection of some "mosaic pieces". That´s no systematic way of getting some knowledge about electronics.

I think it is the Inductive reactance. Please see AC circuit Analysis books.
