the output current of LM7805 is 1amp,and the max input current(amp) for TDA7000 is
8mA.
can the output pf LM7805 be connected directly to TDA7000.!the output current of
LM7805 (1amp) is very high for TDA7000.please help me guys!

TDA7000 will draw current of 8mA from the LM7805 b/c the load draw the current from source according to its capacity (resistance). but it is a good practice to isolate the system from supply to prevent any damage in case of short circuit.

The LM7805 is a VOLTAGE regulator (with max. current capacity of 1A), in other words it is a VOLTAGE source that maintains the output voltage at 5V regardless of the load current (as mention before any current between 0A – no load - and 1A – full load) ..

The TDA7000 draws only 8mA, so let it do it; and the 7805 will happily deliver that 8mA to it and still keep the voltage at the 5V level ..

1 amp is just the maximum limit of 7805, it means u can draw current from 0 to 1000am ok
