Doubt MicroSD and slot

If I store an electronic device with the microSD card inserted is slot for many years, will it cause problems with the card slot losing the pressure to hold it or break?

Assuming BeCu base spring contact mat'l, then I think not. But that puts a lot of faith in the supplier to use the best annealed BeCu with gold-plated Flash PCB fingers.
