doubt about our project named online pressure measurement

we are trying to measure air pressure of vehicle tyres(two wheelers) at ONLINE(during running time of vehicle).....we do not have idea about the CORRECT SENSOR for this project....can we choose strain gauge for this?...is it possible to measure the pressure at online?...OR is there any other sensor is available for this?....waiting for your kind reply........

Search Freescale site they have some application note who show how to make a wire less tyres pressure sensor
