Dongle USB device for Software

I have a software with Dongle USB device with it. I want to replicate this dongle to get the software running on second PC. Can any one guide if it is possible and how?? software provider ran out of business so no way going back.
 

Normally you don't have a chance to replicate the dongle because its sotware is encrypted. Otherwise it would be too easy. But maybe there are possibilities to use the software without a dongle.
 

What are those possibilities.... any clues??
 

I don't want to give you any illegal hints, but maybe there exists some kind of software which allows you to use your software without dongle. But don't forget, if you want to use your legal software on a second pc, check if it's in agreement with the license.
