ulderico are u having some problems in installing multisim 2001 on windows XP or were u just confirming the compatibility of multisim 2001. multisim 2001 works fine on windows xp but if u r having a problem try a different source for the installation. if the problem persists then send a mail to the people at multisim. and u can also ask about it here. ill be glad to help if i know the solution
