mobility degradation

www.geocities.com/outstandingowl/LinearityAnalysis_Optimisation.pdf

in that paper, it says that third order distortion is caused by velocity saturation and mobility degradation, and the feedback effect of Cgd (pg 114). Therefore, double-balanced is more linear than single-balanced.

question: don't those things apply to single-balanced too? Does mobility degradation and the others affect double-balanced more, and why?
