I want to know that CD4050BE works fine with ATMEGA 328 PU?
i read somewhere that CD4050BE donot work good at high frequencies?

I am using 16 Mhz crystal with Atmega328 PU.

?

To know that why don't you check the datasheet of the chip?

i donot know it works with 1 circuit and donot work with other identical circuit?

Re: CD 4050 works fine with atmega 328?

If it works with one of the circuit thats means its working

but other circuit is same with same voltage levels and it doesnot wor...

Re: CD 4050 works fine with atmega 328?

ICs are not all made exactly the same. Some might work at 16MHz but others have a maximum frequency that is a little lower.

Which signal of the chip do you intend to feed to the CD 4050?

i am using arduino SD card module with CD4050BE as level shifter...

Re: CD 4050 works fine with atmega 328?

For a mega328 with 16MHz cpu clock the max SPI clock is 4MHz or if you use the clock rate x2 option 8MHz

For the mcu to SDcard direction you can use 74AHC125/743LVC125 with a power supply of 3.3v.
The input can tolerate 5v with a power supply of 3.3

For the SDcard to mcu line use a 74HCT125 with 5v supply, it uses TTL level compatibility so input>2v results to high
