does anyone used synopsys dc 2005.09?

I used dc 2003.12 in the past, dose the dc 2005.09 is more better than 2003.12?
Will it req less memory?
How much the memory requested if I synthesis a 500K gates design?

The dc 2005.09 have a major set of bugs/problems corrected comparing with the version 2003.12
I can send you the release notes document showing this corrected errors and the requirements in tems of memory and platform to use.
