buntheun, thanks for your message, but there is a misunderstanding I think. I am not into Windows XP. XWindows is a completely different thing. It is something for running applications across a network on a variety of hardware platforms. Well, at least as far as I know, but I do not know much. That is why I am asking for detailed documents. A good e-book is my preference if possible.
XWindows or X is the defauld gui or window manager for unix based systems, it's beed around for about two decades (long biffore M$ windows), eny good book on unix or linux covers this topic! what exactly do you wan't to know about it?
Well I'll search my library for X-windows and I'll let you know what I find.
