do SFH551 need 2 connect to external amplifier?tq in advance

it have a built in transimpedance amplifier, i will use it as a fiber optic detector, then connected to amplifier, thq question is, do i need to connect it to another amplifier? i wanna make my design as low cost as posible, cos im just a student,
i will attach the datasheet here
