Do i need to undergo compliance testing for a 24v equipment?

I have built a prototype with 24V, 2.5 A output. it is powered from an AC computer adaptor which was from an certified manufacturer. when i checked online most of the directives are above 50V. so can u let me know if i need to undergo EMC testing.

Active and passive EMI isn't related to supply voltage levels.
 

just a suggestion

yes you do, why? well how can you prove that you
equipment does not cause EMC?
it could be a switching reg/booster that you have designed.
and that could cause interference.
 

Directives vary from regulatory agency to regulatory agency. Which one are you considering? What is your intended geographical market?
 

it is with in UK, am using a DC motor load rated 24V 2A for running pump.
 

Many years ago, in a previous job, we sold some motorcycle electronic subassemblies (12V powered) for an UK company. They did request EMC testing, but am not aware of the details.
