Hi,
I have designed a vivaldi antenna in HFSS using driven modal setup. The antenna's S11, radiation pattern, surface current distribution and gain looks good. Now I need to perform transient analysis using two of my designed antenna (one as a transmitting antenna and the other as a receiving antenna) to see if the antenna is capable of transmitting and receiving with less distortion. So-
1) Can anyone suggest me ways to do this?
2) If I do this using HFSS, how to set one port in transmitting mode and other port in receiving mode? How can I assign the gaussian pulse in only one port (transmitting mode), without exciting the other port (receiving mode)
3) If I export the .sp file from HFSS driven modal solution, and simulate it using HSpice, then will I need hspice rf for this purpose? Can anyone tell me the steps required to do it?
Thanks in advance.
