Using Cute ftp Server...

When using Cute ftp Server, do I need a static IP from my internet service provider or register for a domain name?

How do I getr an address which I give people?

Hi

You don't need static IP urgently.
Just subscribe at https://www.dyndns.org/ and you can obtain static address like for example
something.homeftp.net
You'll have small app running at your computer updating DNS entry everytime your IP changes.
But you always need IP visible from outside!
