I need a NETWORK PROGRAMMING Concept reference or paper....plz

Hi,
Can you be a little mor specific? Which kind of netwok programming?
Windows ? Linux? or Embedded?

But as a starting point i recommend the book
by "Richard stevens" named "Unix Network programming"

And also as an internet source i recommend Beej's guide to network programming;

If you can be more specific i can recommend more.
